Journey Through Hebrews

In Journey Through Hebrews, we will explore what the message of the Letter to the Hebrews is, and how that message is conveyed through its intricate literary design, including the extensive use of various Old Testament passages. Participants will learn

(i) to identify the letter’s literary features,
(ii) to understand their significance,
(iii) to connect with the letter’s theological message, and
(iv) to respond appropriately to that message. 

The class will progress through key parts of the letter through nine, 2-hour, meetings held once a month on Saturdays starting on September 21, 2024, and concluding in May 2025. Each meeting will be designed so that participants can benefit from it even if the participant did not attend prior ones. In the end, the class aims to help the participants grow to enjoy reading and studying God’s word and to meditate on it day and night.
