Executive Pastor

The English-speaking Congregation (EC) of the Open Door Presbyterian Church (ODPC) is looking for an experienced Executive Pastor to join the EC pastoral team to journey with the team and lead the congregation toward active, missional living, transformation, and growth. Direct assignments over ministries/areas are seen as seasonal assignments as needed by the church, with, naturally, consideration of the individual’s giftings and passion match given. Essentially, ODPC EC is looking for an articulate communicator, an experienced (7+ years in full-time ministry), and a natural leader over the assigned ministries/responsibilities; a pastor who, along with his family, will live among and minister and grow with the church.

YOUTH PASTOR

Primary Role
The Youth Pastor will be part of a youth ministry team with a focus on fellowship, welcoming, missions, and worship aspects of the youth group. The candidate will especially direct his/her time to caring for adult volunteer teachers/small group leaders, as well as fostering a community and fellowship among both the adult/student volunteers. This will be a role where one will have to work in tandem with the youth pastors who are currently serving and assisting, as needed.

The Worship Pastor/Director should be an individual with a variety of gifts and talents who is dedicated to Jesus Christ and is living a lifestyle consistent with a faithful follower of Christ. The Worship Pastor/Director is responsible for creating an inviting worshipful environment for the congregation and serving to help build the identity of Open Door Presbyterian Church (ODPC) as a whole.

The Worship Pastor/Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the worship services and music/technical ministry of the church, creating an atmosphere that facilitates meaningful and authentic worship experiences for the congregation. This individual will ensure the integration of technology enhances the overall worship experience. This role will oversee the technical aspects of worship services and events. This individual will need to be comfortable with managing audio, visual, and lighting elements, lead a team of volunteers or staff, and collaborate with various staff/leaders to bring ODPC’s worship vision to life. This role involves planning worship services, scheduling the worship team that serves each Sunday, troubleshooting technical issues, overseeing media production, and maintaining a budget for technical needs.
