Wanted: Experienced Teacher to teach in Central Asia 
Commitment:  9 months to 1 year, 2018-19 school year 

Make a direct impact on junior high students, consider teaching in Central Asia for a church family! There are two to four students. Subjects are science and history, teaching with Sonlight curriculum, and math and English, providing supervision and assistance for the online curriculum. An experienced teacher would be great but a dedicated resourceful believer is welcome as well.

Seeking Bone Marrow Donations

Within our church family, Ji-eun, 35 year-old and a mother of two young children (3yr & 6yr), is suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. An agressive cancer of the bone marrow and blood. There is a higher chance for her to find a match from her own ethnic group.  She urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. She currently has a life expectancy of 8 months from diagnosis without treatment.  

It just takes 2 minutes to register to be a donor.

Seeking Human Resources Professionals

Are you working in or have experience in or interest in HR benefits (especially medical benefits) or finance payroll systems? ODPC would love to get your help!

We are looking for a few individuals to help us review and improve our church staff's medical insurance benefits and payroll / HR benefits implementation. This will be a short-term (1-3 months), research/review/recommendation project commitment. We are looking for 2-3 individuals to form an ad-hoc committee to achieve a finite goal leveraging your professional knowledge.

Freedom Encounter Learning Program

Freedom Encounter is an intensive three-week exposure to the work of Freeset in Kolkata and the development of freedom business in the villages of West Bengal.

An experiential learning program that runs twice a year in January and September. The next Freedom Encounter runs from the September 3rd - 21st, 2018 


Course participants will:

  • Encounter rural and urban poverty in West Bengal.
  • Develop an understanding of the connections between poverty and the trafficking of girls and women in to Kolkata’s extensive sex trade.
  • Gain insight in to the potential of freedom businesses to transform communities.
  • Engage in a continuous process of reflection through theological insight.
